Privacy policy
How Dylan handles your details
Dylan only collects the details you choose to send, and only uses them to reply to you and arrange your booking.
Last updated 3 November 2026. This policy covers dylanforge.com and Dylan Forge's enquiry forms on Facebook and Instagram. Dylan Forge is a sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria (ABN 62 741 345 670).
What Dylan collects
When you send an enquiry, fill in a form on Facebook or Instagram, or sign up to the newsletter, Dylan receives the details you enter. That can include:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your postcode, if you sign up to the newsletter
- details of your event, such as the date, venue, package and songs
- how you heard about Dylan, and anything else you choose to write
Dylan doesn't ask for payment details through the website or social media forms.
How your details are used
- To reply to your enquiry, check availability and send you a quote
- To arrange and confirm your booking, including invoices and event details
- To send the newsletter, only if you've signed up for it
Dylan won't sell, rent or trade your details, and won't add you to the newsletter unless you sign up.
Who else sees them
Your details are only shared where it's needed to reply to you or deliver your booking:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the website forms
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if you fill in a form there; Meta's own privacy policy also applies
- Dylan's email and phone providers, which carry his messages
- a pianist, musician, agent or venue working on your event, and only the details they need for it
Some of these providers store information outside Australia.
Cookies and the website
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and videos only load from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) when you press play. Like any website host, Netlify keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
How long they're kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as they're needed to reply and manage any booking, and booking records for as long as the law requires for tax purposes.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details Dylan holds about you at any time, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To ask about your details or make a complaint, contact Dylan:
